PWizard or Caliber respond to PMs? on General Discussions Message Board - Page 1

Wondering how much time it takes to respond if a request has been sent to Caliber to update a trainer that claims to be compatible with Windows 8 but is crashing after trying all fixes (disabling IE10 and offline key generation).

Saw this thread a bit late. But now I have a better understanding of the situation here at CheatHappens.

I hope I get a response soon though as there are others who have reported the same problem.

PS: Grid v1.3 trainer crashes immediately after opening the .exe file on Windows 8 systems even when IE10 has been disabled and even when offline key is being used. The trainer claims to be compatible with Windows 8 but is not.

Note: This is not an issue with the actual game crashing when using the trainer.

The trainer is 100% compatible with win8 there are other programs or issues interfering.

How come all Windows 8 users are having an issue with it then?

I have already tried all fixes mentioned on the link you posted. No Antivirus is running or firewall is blocking anything on my system. I have 100s of other trainers from this site that are working just fine.

Again I am talking about the Grid 1 trainer version 1.3 which is the latest. Not the new Grid.

Not all users are using win8 one of them is using win7 and the trainer still crashes, like i said it's probably other issue, the trainer works fine from my side.

We will look into it when we have time. These old trainers are the lowest priority. Cal is out of town for the next few days so don't expect anything anytime soon.

@OP because people respond to say it isn't working in Windows 8 doesn't necessarily mean it is the same for everyone with Windows 8.

People may be using software that is common among them that have had problems and that could be the cause of the problem.

Don't be so eager to declare it is the same for everyone :P

Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA
