Everything new that I hear about The One makes me want to get it less and less. I think Microsoft is setting themselves up to fail with this one. To be honest, making you use Kinect in order to use The One is pretty much a total jerk move.

the kinetic is supposed to be in the box when you buy it and the always online is debunked by microsoft.

Since there are people who give me crap for my grammar and is to lazy to check my profile I will say it here as well. I am dyslexic so give me a break as I *TRY* to spell correctly.

I'll buy it eventually, but it will take me awhile. It took me 6 years to finally buy a ps3.

And it might sound funny, but I would buy a O-Z just to get you in my bedroom.

I don't really understand the backwards compatibility argument. I mean, being able to play your old games on new consoles is nice, but I keep my old consoles around for that reason... do other people throw them away or trade them in?

I don't do twitter or anything, but the loader I use for minecraft has a thing where it shows peoples twitter feeds and Notch said

"I wanted a game console, not a voice and gesture based tv remote box. :/"

This seems to be a common thread in complaints.

how much farther can they go with consoles until they just become non-upgradable pc's?
