I have same problem too.

whenever jet plane appears, soon the sound effects go wacky and crashes afterwards...



with legit Steam version of the game,
also with latest version of the cheat...

I'm not sure but aren't there certain problem with
specific hardwares?
(I'm using Onkyo SE90 PCI audio card, which uses VIA ENVY 24 chipsets)

Its because you are using unlimited fuel and ammo take them off and sound comes back. The Planes are not designed in game to have unlimited ammo and fuel hence turn them off. The reason why you are crashing because you dont have enough memory for the game to keep all the code for the air plane for unlimited ammo and fuel if you are just makeing the minimal amount for the game it will crash unlike mine it stacks for a little bit but if i dont turn it off once in awhile I will run out of memory and have to turn it off. Soon as you loose sound turn the settings off until you get sound back that will clear all the saved code and free up some memory. Once the sound is back agin turn it back on. Hope this helps.

we already posted IN THE INSTRUCTIONS not to use the unlimited ammo option if you plan to use planes.

Anyone figure out the "rules" for using unlimited reinforcements and still not decreasing total unit count on campaign mode?

The most I could gather was if you deploy all units of a type before the match starts, any *new* units that you spawn in won't decrease the unit count even if destroyed...
