Stupid game updates

This in doubt just goes to show I would rather see a updated trainer every month not every update. Since the trainer then will be retired. Roll back the game settle for that until they are done fixing the crap game they pushed out way to fast before testing out all the bugs. Honestly I would only like to see a new trainer when they do something better to the campaign side of it since skirmishes are fun but they get old quick.

basically what I am gathering is that YOU, the consumer, are paying to be PLAYTESTERS for the developers so that they can get the balance issues worked out. this is exactly like the last game, where they patched it nauseatingly for months until the users either QUIT or finally quit complaining about all the balance and bug issues.

as stated earlier, we don't mind supporting a game through updates. but right now the game is literally BROKEN. there is no other way to describe a game that is patching 10 times a week or more. I am all for developers fixing their games. however, we won't be driving ourselves nuts here at cheathappens letting one title (or a handful of broken games like this one) take up all of our time, only to have it patch 1 hour after we release a trainer.

maybe they will surprise us and let the game be played without fixing it for a day. so far, that hasn't been the case..

we updated the trainer at 2:30am in the morning. we added the ability to modify your production points if you swap teams in skirmish and otherwise. Also the ability to reset your production points to 0 (or the AI) and updated the notes to reflect that if you switch teams or otherwise, you may in fact become team 2 instead of team 1, etc.

Completely understandable. This isn't surprising these days, seems to be the route a lot of devs are taking... and not a good route.

Unfortunate, as the game has promise. I'll put it on the back-listing for some time and see if they ever get it worked out. If not... meh. I'll just not buy another of their games, and quite whining about this one.

i agree that this updating is ridiculous. there are more updates for this game this past week than some games for their entire life cycle.

if we have to resort to rollbacks, i will understand the CH crew's decision

pwizard posted the new trainer. it has some new features regarding the productions points so be sure to read the instructions. use the trainer while you can before it patches again
