Being able to fast-forward gameplay up to x16 and using cheats within reason such as modifying "randomly" encountered pokémon to obtain all 3 starters are things that i could only dream about as a small child.

In all seriousness though, i seen a photo somewhere (more than likely on facebook) that said something along the lines of "those who played it as a kid will never truely be able to stop playing it, those who didn't would never be able to get into it..". Seems true to an extent with myself and a fair few people i know. Call it a curse if you will.

Golden Sun has always followed me around. Not so much Pokemon though.
