I think it has a lot to do with the fact that whenever something happens, news companies compete with each other to be the first to deliver new information. And sometimes, in the chaos of it all, it's wrong. And once it hits Twitter, it spreads like wildfire.
There have already been multiple facts and mass evidence discovered to prove that the bombs were a staged terrorism act and ordered by the American government to invent a false "retaliation" to the bomb they dropped on the Afghanistan wedding which killed 30 innocent people (not sure on the number, may be more), but of course nobody hears about that unless they search for it because mainstream media doesn't want you to know about it.

Bomb Squad dogs were stationed at the start and finish lines of the race, there was a reaction from a dog at the finish line. The dogs actions were code for there being an explosive device that could be dangerous to the public, bystanders witnessed this and were assured that there was nothing to worry about.
There is absolutely no evidence of any sort of terrorism from a person of any other nationality.
Obama states that any act which includes a bomb around innocent civilians is an act of terror, yet he has already bombed innocent civilians of Yemen, Libya, Somalia, Pakistan, Iraq and Afghanistan with no apparent reason given.
Edit: Also something to do some research on that you could even sceptically refer to as fishy, is the news report comparison photos that have been posted on Facebook, twitter and instagram of the Sandy Hook principal.
In reports of the Sandy Hook massacre, "Dawn"'s photo was shown and it was confirmed that she had been killed. Now - using the SAME photo of her - news reports said that "Donna" was nearby when the explosions occurred.

Because people are
stupid idiots bored and have nothing better to do.
Also because they weren't directly affected by the tragedy so they can take on a more detached, cynical viewpoint.
Prayers go out to all those affected by this senseless tragedy.

I can honestly say that i am not, all i go by is what i think anyone should go by; facts.
It's ok though, cognitive dissonance will always keep people sceptical of a reality they wish not to believe.
I'll add to my comments that regardless of cause, i have nothing but the best of wishes for the coping of all of the friends and families of those who have been injured/killed.
I'm not saying for a second that such was justified in any way and nobody deserves to fall victim to these acts.
Nobody threw out the "conspiracy theorist" remark directly. You inferred it through implication that honestly, was not there.
My comment was intended to point out that it is sad when the first thing people talk about regarding tragedies like this are conspiracies and vapid conclusions instead of realizing that real, actual people died as a cause of this. It is one of the things that makes me dislike the internet, the way it desensitizes people to loss of life.
