I've been having an issue with my trainers lately, and was wondering if anyone can give any insight. This is occurring on ALL of my trainers, and they're all as up-to-date as possible.
I load up the trainer first, then load the game. Once the game is at the main menu, I hit F1 to activate the trainer. As soon as it says "Trainer Activated" (sometimes before it finishes saying it), I get spammed by (depending on the trainer) "Acti-acti-acti-acti-acti" or "On-on-off-off-on-on-off-off". This annoyance will not go away until I close the trainer. Even Left 4 Dead 2's auto-updating trainer does this.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You most likely have a key stuck or have some multimedia keyboard software interfering. Could also be AV, firewall and other security software.

There are no sticking keys, as none of the trainer keys have yet been pressed, and they don't affect any other programs. I disabled both my AV and G15 software, and I've had my firewall disabled since day one. No effect on the trainers' behavior.

No idea then. You'll have to continue to troubleshoot until you find the root cause.

It may have something to do with another application on your computer.
For example, the Zune software would cause all the trainers to do what you described until I restarted the computer.
I think someone even mentioned Quicktime caused the same issue.

I don't know why, since I didn't DO anything, but they just magically started working today. FRAPS, my G15 keyboard software, and AVG are all running, too. Technology, amirite?
