then what about the gamergates version???? im only asking so I know where to buy from when one of them put it on sale....

I wont spend $29 for this crap, that doesn't even have a real football player name or team name on it....

when the patch come out I hope they can get the licence for both....

Come on man! If the game is crap to you, why buy it in the first place? Yeah, should be steam and on steam it's 25 Euro, not 29.

i haven't buy the game yet....

and look where im from AUS??? not in Europe mate...its $29 aus... so yeah....

I was thinking about buying it 2day, but still not to sure if I should. the game looks really fun, but want to know more about it first. & yes iv been look around on youtube and all & still not convince....

so if you finish a season and let say you become lord of football, so what happen then??

can you still play next year?? can you buy player?? or is this kind of game that only last one season???? or maybe last until you become lord of football???? 🤔

Oh yea, aussie, sorry, didn't really pay attention to that, my bad.

You can play 21421414 seasons if you are pleased. You can buy and sell as many players as you like. Since no money is involved, the players you put in outbound are replaced by the players on your wishlist.

I couldn't think of a more stupid name for a football game than this: Lord. Dunno why they call it Lord. Lord of the flies, Lord of the dump. Anyways, if you are into actual football game simulation, do not buy this. It's pretty poorly designed. If you want to play a simslike game with a little football on the side, buy it. I've played it for about 15 hrs but got tired of it because the football simulation is not really what I was expecting. It's not a bad game but it's not great either.

okay thank mate, lol... I went to have a look at there web for this game... and I found that the company are to poor to even BUY a player & club naming right... so they try to tell us they didn't want to buy the right, because they think it will be MUCH better that we play as some make up football star??? $29 for a game that doesn't even have a naming right??

I would buy it if they have some improvement, more league, player, naming right, stadium,... this game could beat FIFA easy if they put in more funding...

after all they have this sim thingy that FIFA never have, but just need more time to make it feel & look like a 5 star game...

I will buy this game but NOT for $29,, maybe $15 then I will

BTW it costs a literal bomb for naming rights especially for football (soccer) teams/players, Pro evo(not a great example but whatever) can only afford a few team names a year and they make much more money than an indie dev such as this so don't expect a "5 star game".

Also the names can also be easily modified...

Okay. Back up a minute.

It costs a lot of money to license EVERY club in England, France, Germany and Italy alone.

Then, you have the players, the competitions, the stadium names, the sponsors, the club grounds, the balls, the fan chants, you name it, football has it down and the bigger clubs have just about everything copyrighted to them. More $$$ for them, more headaches for smaller devs.

Also, the big companies (EA/Konami) are rumored to be going to exclusive deals for their games for the next gen consoles which is one reason why PES has fake names out of the box, they simply couldn't get licenses for the teams. They do however, have the UEFA Champions League license, which FIFA doesn't, and vice versa.

If you want to hand over $100 million for licensing, go right ahead. Otherwise actually read up on the ins and outs of sports and licensing.

Hey guys,

Just need a little help. I'm trying to edit some of the stats for some new players I just got and the F1 option doesn't seem to be working...I got it to work when I first started the game but now it doesn't want to work for me. I'm selecting the individual player then pressing F1,editing stats and then pressing F1 again; I'm using the freeze day timer and ending the day when I'm done but the stats don't want to stick. Any advice? Or am I just out of luck.
