Unless you want the enemy getting the same benefits from the options then the option must stay as it is. This is NOT the same game as COH1 and programmed completely different so you can't compare the two.

Hi, I have a question. When I download this trainer, I only get a small file 720 kb and it only contains the readme file. Is this due to my virusscanner? I turned it off, before downloading and I get it with many (not all) trainers I download. The new Terraria trainer does download correct. What am I doing wrong?

Your basic idea was completely right. But something is still deleting/blocking the trainer exe. Did you disable everything? Background/Exploit/Real-time scanning? SmartScreen? Does your firewall also performs malware scanning?

Switching the browser could also help.

I've found that I need to disable my antivirus sometimes two or more times. I often need to disable it to download the initial ZIP file without it just auto deleting it, and then I need to make sure it is still off when I unZIP the file, because I've noticed my antivirus (avast) will off delete the trainer when it unzips, leaving the readme. The third time I need to make sure the antivirus isn't running is when I actually start the trainer. I don't know if any of that might help you, depending on when the trainer file doesn't appear/disappears for you, but figured it was worth posting my struggles in case it does help. Good luck!

Too lighten this process you could create one folder for all our trainers. Set up an exception rule for this folder in your AV. When you get passed the download hassle with your AV (should you run into it) move the rar file into this folder and extract the trainer there. You can rename the trainer folder and exe to your liking.

Now everything in this folder should be able to run without the need to disable your AV every time. What might still trigger it is our trainers writing some files into the Windows temp folder and/or a newly created folder called 'Cheathappens' in your user directory.
