I'd love some personal thoughts on it. Plus how does it (can it?) compare to tabula rasa?

Yeappers.. It's an online MMO monster game tied to a SciFi TV show starting the middle of April..

It's still in prepurchase right now.. Very costly investment for a game that is apparently intended to run 24/7 world wide.

I guess the skeptics in all of us will see how it goes when it does officially launch..

Umm.. Last I checked, Defiance has already launched. At least it has here in the states.

Yes it has launched it was released 2nd of april, the game it self is fun to solo and Group activities are also a blast and there are big encounters, there have been issues with farming mobs extensively so they nerfed weapon drops from elite mobs.

The game it self is fine you can explore and the maps are huge, once you Progress in your main story you open up more of the map and can then do side missions to improve your would not call it lvl but ego raiting that opens up for different ego boosts in the game, and you can open up everything in the ego menu, given you spend the time to reach the cap.

Have not done pvp yet still exploring the area's and doing season pass objectives, there are no uber armors that is all looks, there are items in your inventory, you have a shield that depending on how good it is has short recharge good protection, the game is a Third person shooter with multiplayer options(you can solo alot if you know how to sidestep).

There are Coop missions instances, there are dynamic events, there are big ark events with big bosses and at the end a top ranking damage dealer and kills list pops up so it is a bit competetive at times, when playing with friends.

i know its a mmorpg and yall dont make trainers for it, but is there anyway to make the enemies more visible? they blend in with the terrain way to well and is hard to target 75% of the time

Great game thus far. Got an email from the company at the end of the first week that said "Sorry for the first week hiccups have a free title *badge* and some boosts for a week". I didn't even realized there had been a problem other than slight maintenance for an hour or so.

It's a very addictive game and very fast paced. It does not play like your normal MMO's.

Can't find many problems with this game and would fully recommend for those who do not like traditional point and click MMO's.

It will be even more interesting when show and game collide.

There is no force pvp, PVE is great with a buddy, Else you get your arse kicked. Atleast I do haha.

It's not that bad, Mostly it can be because you haven't loaded them proberly. A tip would be to get a Dodge challenger vehicle like me. And then run them down
