The last trainer was working fine. Today Steam released an update and the trainer stopped working. Would be nice if the will be a new one?

people complained and said, " trainer doesn't work fix it". We as a CH community said it did work, and then they continued to complain and blame CH saying the trainer was broke and its not them...anyways here is a URL for it Link & Link

To use CoSMOS with out problems i would play the game in window mode that way you can switch back and forth between the too with no problems.

Most of the of values are 4 byte values.

for instance lets says you have 4 gold

that would technically be 0400 in CE


Do a initial search for unknown value

then would look for value between 0400 and 0499 ( the same would apply to research points and anything else for that matter)

end turn


and lets say your gold increase is +2 for that turn and now you have 6 gold after the last turn

your next search would be 0600 and 0699
continue till you find


the value should 0600 with 2 zeros behind it; since this is in memory they first 0 wont show up so it would look like 400 and 600 but don't forget that is 4 bytes so its 0400.

as for research points its the same check where your research is at lets say your sitting at 300/600 for the current research and you make 19 per turn(keep that in mind)

do a new search- then search unknown value- then search for a value between 30000-30099 ( yes that's right its 30000 since this is 4 bytes the last 2 zeros are for the 2 places after a decimal in the game i.e.(300.00) lets say for a construction site where you have 25.75/100 complete you would search for a value between 2575-2599) hope that doesn't confuse you. You would continue the process till you find your value that you are looking for.

I think the problem with people saying it didn't work, was they meant to say, a while ago the trainer's functionality changed, and then the researching became broken. Where it made all research 1 turn, which in effect broke the game. Everything else was working just fine. I not happy with the fact that that you retired this game. I just avoided using the research, but I still would like to see an update to the trainer. I don't have enough time to figure out something else, and I have relied on Cheat Happens for all my trainer needs. I think you guys have done good work, and don't pay attention to the internet forum chumps that just flame away, when something doesn't go their way.

SO PLEASE, please update the existing trainer to 2.44

It would be nice if they "UN-Retired" the game. After all, Civ V is seemingly very popular. Personally, I encountered very few problems with the trainer until this last update. And I found all the options working. The only thing I ran into was sometimes it wouldn't start when I pressed F1. But I found out, if I rebooted my system, then it would work without fail.

Oh well, guess I'll just have to experience the game the way Sid Meier really meant for us to, without a trainer.

But that is the problem you run into from time to time, when dealing with people.

this is the 3rd topic on this message board about the trainer being retired. stop making them. the trainer is retired and making tons of topics begging for it to be re-activated is not going to help your case.
