Assassin's Creed V: Modern warfare?, no thanks

i don't get all the fuss about Creed 3, i thought it was rather brilliant, and with the new addition of naval combat, it only got better

I really think this is going to be the best AC yet.
Unfortunately I forgot to cancel/postpone my Amazon order, once the PC release was delayed, for the guide book and that arrived yesterday. I've being taking sneak peaks at it and if the size of the map that was included is an indication of the what we can do in the game it looks awesome.
I've read the reviews for the X-Box & PS3 and they are mainly highly positive, any negativity seems to stem from the damned stupid stalking/follow missions (which I've always hated!) and a slightly bloated, improbable storyline but otherwise very positive reviews (I think the PS3 version is currently at 89 on Metacritic).
I've always played the games as completionist (that bl**dy Fanorama game in AC3 nearly gave me nightmares!) and judging by the amount of things you can do in the more "sand-box" areas of the game I can more than 50+ hours of game time, much of which is quite diverse.
I seriously cannot wait, I've been doing the AC Initiates website, following stuff on The Watch, and truly believe it will be the best on the PC.
I hope that I'm not disappointed but just the thought of being able to roam around the high seas, stopping off doing what I want to then going back to the story when I want to progress is going to be way cool.
    Anyways, here's hoping!

It's solid. I recommend this to anyone, even if this is your first jump into the series; it is an excellent first step. The story is quite convoluted at this point though, but I'm only at the end of the 5th sequence so I'm not sure if it will open up more later or if I need to dig more around outside of the Animus...But the story so far does not make much sense in the Assassin's Creed arc.

Just an excuse for a pirate game, really...But a really, really good pirate game none-the-less.

The game is solid, though there are some massive errors to deal with; namely the sea assassination contracts and several in city contracts that glitch and don't allow you to complete them or get them off your screen. The graphics on the PS3 are beautiful, the gameplay is solid and fighting and sea warfare are fun. The story and cinematic are top notch, and just as high quality as what you see in the trailers. Overall, I give the game one and a half thumbs up, and it would get two if they fixed the stupid glitches.
