I just wanted to say, being a veteran of gaming since the mid 1980's: ET2 is is a great game and I've enjoyed every minute of it so far! One would think this game is merely about driving from point A to point B..and they would be technically right! But regardless there is something special about this game that makes it addictive. Maybe it is the freedom of driving. Maybe its the strategic part involving running your own garage with multiple drivers working for you. Maybe its the option to customize your truck with additional options. But regardless, this game speaks to me!
I recommend you veterans try it out. If not for an interest in trucks and/or driving-sims, but simply for the reason you are bored with your regular games and want to try something different! (There is a demo available on STEAM).
All the best ya'll, and thanks to Cheathappens for your efforts! /F
As an edition to the above post: Unlike games like Grand Theft Auto, in ET2 you have to follow the rules...(including the speed limit) or else you get a fine. For some reason this appeals to me...Maybe because I've never been an Anarchist
I dont have any official sales figures, but I went into a local gamestore and they say its one of their topsellers for PC!
Not bad for a game that started on steam's "greenlight". There is also a DLC in the works. It will expand the map through to Eastern Europe, with "focus on Poland" as it says.
