I have a preload version and played it for 15 minutes last night,now it wants a serial number.when I enter the serial number its won't take due to it says it's already been used.
Shutdown Origin and restarted it,same problem.Tried their chat and there's a 150 minute wait time!

there is an issue with Origin, EA say they are working on it. Seems to be happening to everybody

im about to cantact them and tell them some, I cant register my game neither

it seems that the fixed this issue, Just Restart your origin Client

Maybe where you live it isn't but Origin released my paid preload at 11:01 pm om 2/18/2013!
