So I have the steam version of the game running Windows 8. So the fundamental problem is that the game crashes when the trainer is running. I have two approaches. First: I alt-tabbed out at the main menu, started the trainer, but could not alt -tab back in. It simply crashes. Second: I alt-tabbed out as the initiating credits ran (i.e. Nvidia etc). I started the trainer and was able to alt-tab back in fine and made it to the main menu. but as soon as I tried to start a game (custom or campaign - no matter) the game would crash. Am I up the creek with this? Appreciate any assistance as I know the emphasis nowadays is on more modern games, but i like to come back to these old favs every now and then. Thanks!
