So anyone got a proper workaround for this? I tried the "press F1 as soon as you launch the game" thing and running both as admin and "a certain no-cd fix" for this. Any other possible workaround would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ammo keypad 6 only works for me if I first bring up weapon configuration by pressing 'x' on keyboard. I press keypad 6, then toggle one of the options like sights or barrel attachments, then 'x' again to exit weapon configuration. The ammo then shows additional load up to 999.
This has worked better for me since I began using no-CD game .exe as described in the past couple of pages. You would be well advised to read at least the past 10 pages because many issues have already been covered recently.

Do you currently use the Windows system admin account, rather than just a regular Windows account with admin privileges for game and trainer launch?
I have to login with my Win 8 admin account, as launching both game and trainer as admin under my normal user account does not work no matter what else I do.

Thanks for replying. Anyhow, i use the proper admin account, and not just a regular account with admin privileges. I'm wary of using the no-cd fix because there have been reports of the Alpha Ceph being unbeatable at the end. I just want to get the trainer to work I've paid good money for it

EDIT : I finally got it to work by pressing the F1 key as soon as the Crysis 3 splashscreen appears. Will update about further workarounds.

Maybe this has been answered before, but when I activate the trainer psycho can't see me, so I am not able to advance in the first level. I just got into the game, and into gaming really. Can anyone shed some light on this? Windows 8 pc downloaded from EA site.

Don't press keypad '8' if you want the characters to sense your presence in the game. You will be invisible even if you walk right up and smack them in the face.
Other than that, I can't think of anything else that might cause that. If all else fails, disable the trainer by pressing the keypad /, then reactivate after the interactive cutscene is over.
