The explosion was 1000x more powerful than a Nagasaki bomb.

But it still wasn't as powerful as the Tunguska one, which knocked down millions of trees, literally.

Thankfully it exploded in the sky, if it had hit, we would be praying that the dust etc from the impact wouldn't block the Sun.

And if it had hit near any large water body, you would have had a kickass Tidal Wave.

Amazing when you think how close we came to wiping out half the population :P

Watched a bunch of dashboard videos and these russian guys are
too cool.

None of them even stopped while that fireball was in the air. Short huh and on they go, one of them tried to go there i guess.
Got to admire that.

Now imagine if that same meteorite exploded over the skies of a major metropolis in America, for example New York... All that chaos and possible old buildings crumbling and falling.
