I gave it a try since many of 0x09's trainers for GOG work with steam. The key is, did steam change the exe? In most older games, steam and GOG use the same exe and thus 0x09 trainer's work.
To be more specific, yes, this trainer worked on the steam version for me. Running win 7 64 bit and IE 9. The only issue - refill health doesn't seem to work. All the options work fine, include 99 stat points which can make your character close to godlike. Also, refill mana works great so you can use am many tunes as you wish without waiting for the mana to refill.
Hope this was informitive. I encourage you (and every) to try the gog trainers 0x09 creates. A bunch will work for steam like I said, as long as steam uses the same exe as gog. And in the older games if does more often than not.
When pressing num3 it won't give you more than a certain amount then.
When you hit level 11, you won't get enough points to make another level then.
In fact if you use num3 when you are level 11 then and then go kill something and get more points then use num3 again, it'll set your points back some.
And don't suggest just using the level 99 key, it won't let you advance your stats, or choose talents, if you do that.
