Hello everyone... Before everyone dive into the game, what do you expect from it? Some dudes thinks it's a new step of DMC evolution... others - classify it as "Twilight n Harry Potter" kinda thing... What do you guys think?
I expected an experience, in terms of gameplay, similar to DMC4, which the game delivers pretty well. Story-wise, the tone is kind of eh, but gameplay, I'm having a ball.
I played the demo on the PS3. I was not impressed. Graphics were horrid.Gameplay was non-responsive at best.
I really was looking forward to this re-boot.I wanted to like this game so bad,But,so far,it's very dissapointing. But,on the other hand,it was a demo,and a console version.
Finally beat the game and I loved it... a lot of jokes about "DMC 1-4 Dante" and just crazy fun... It reminds me Prince of Persia 2008 it looked different from PoP 1-3 but still had its unique style... anyways, my point - buy it!
I just finished the game and thoroughly enjoyed it. The gameplay and presentation is just amazing. Each boss-fight has its down distinct feeling. The environment inside Limbo gives a nice atmosphere as well. I don't like the new devil trigger though =/.
Just played it out. And loved it. Was expecting something worse.
I loved the easy combo and the gameplay was great. Liked the music in the game but found the first "hard" level pretty easy. Gonna replay it now so hopefully it is harder to beat.
I agree though that the new dante look takes away the "epic" looks of the character. They wen't from funky anime/FinalFantasy style to a more realistic look which in my opinion doesn't fit the game considering your fighting demons & he's not human
