LOVE the work you guys are doing on the trainer.. unfortunately I only get it to run before freezing the game 1:25 times. I've tried everything the troubleshooting sections have suggested in many different ways. Using latest and greatest Steam version of the game (with DLC downloaded) and the trainer I downloaded is 1.0.0.20072. When running, all options work perfectly. What happens is when I'm adjusting in the barracks the game will just freeze (Not responding). When I say I've done everything the site has offered I mean EVERYTHING Lol.... most of what I've seen with the complainers/whiners is that the trainer itself doesn't work... mine does, just freezes game more often then not... anything i've missed that someone could suggest? Thanks for the great trainer... My 9 yr old loves that fact he can kick but and I enjoy a little extra whoopass on the impossible level
I have a few questions for you. First, are you running into the crashes during the tutorial levels? I know that I ran into issues bumping stats and having the game freeze during the tut phase. This is likely because the game "recognizes" that you should not be beyond a certain level during this early portion. Secondly, are you utilizing the trainer and editor at the same time? I know that my game would freeze if I attempted to activate the trainer and editor at the same time. If this is the case, do not worry, you can use them both during the same game. However, you simply need to start either the trainer or the editor, then enter the game, then exit to the main menu, and finally activate the program you did not start the first time. I know that this solved my problem when using both items at the same time. Finally, have you tried to run it without upgrading the barrack's stats. I never utilized that option on the trainer and my cheating experience was phenomenal. Let us know the answers when you get a chance, and perhaps someone here can help you more than I have attempted to in this rant.
Good luck!

Admiral, thanks for the quick reply. I did not do the tutorials. I finished the game on easy mode before getting the trainer for some a**kicking goodness. I don't use the editor.
I have not yet run the trainer with out making changes in the barracks. I've always been to lazy to make those changes every time I'm in the field. I will try that this evening tho to narrow down my problem.
I had hoped someone with a little more technical knowledge would have chimed in at this point. However, I do have two additional thoughts. First: Verify the integrity of your game cache. Do this by right clicking on your game in the Steam library. Select "Properties. Then click on the tab labeled "Local Files." Now select "Verify Integrity of Game Cache..." This will discover whether, or not, you have any corrupted files in the game's program itself. If you have never done this before; note that it will repair any unresolved files automatically. Second: There is the possibility that your saved game files are in some way corrupted. You may simply need to start a new game. Try these two measures out, and hopefully one will solve your issues. If not, hopefully, someone with a greater understanding of the issue may come forward to help. People are always willing to help out here. Some threads just get lost in the shuffle if you will pardon the expression.
Good luck!

1) the last patch the game developers added 75+ steam triggers to the game to crash the game or freeze it if the game detects changes in the game code in memory
2) we addressed this and created a new trainer to get around this
3) instructions are important in the new trainer
4) with all that said, i started the trainer, started the game, pressed F1 at the main menu, and loaded no less than 8 different savegames without any problems
5) so likely you have version mismatch, or something from here:
