Has to be Messi but I still have my doubts that he would perform quite so well in England, or surrounded by different team mates for that matter.

I can't honestly vote on this. Though I enjoy a good football game (I hate the word soccer, and I'm American. It's an affront to the sport to call it that just because this country is a bunch of idiots.) and watch quite a few, it's just too hard to pick a "best player".

I'm a fan of Drogba personally, I just think he is a great striker.
