Anyone know of a safe way to fix this? I've tried reinstalling the game (Baldur's Gate Enhanced, tried re-installing my Video Card drivers, tried applying the latest patch to the game, no luck.

I know there are .dll download sites but those ore usually garbage.

Try and install OpenAL from here: connect.creativelabs.com/openal/Downloads/Forms/AllItems.aspx
