Sees Dishonored get GOTY, kicks some tables over like a new age Jesus Christ.
And walks out.
Nahh it was a good game, but Walking Dead was better, ok wasn't as long as Dishonored but it was unique. And is one of the games this year that is getting me excited about a sequel.
I agree with DABhand, I was more in favor of Journey as and walking dead myself. Journey's sound track and game play as simple as it might be for a was beyond fantastic; it was such a moving game.
I am a little shocked that Dishonored did as well as it did since nearly everyone I know tells me it is a title that will be best suited for the bargain bin. However, I have as yet to be thoroughly disappointed by a Bethesda title so perhaps I will have to give it a go a little sooner. Most surprising to me was how poor of a showing the Witcher 2 received. Sure, it got attention which is more than most games did, but I felt that the game was phenomenal. To make the game even more appealing the creators did something unheard of these days. They updated the game and improved it, and then charged absolutely nothing for the additional content. Its graphics, storyline, and game play were all equally impressive. Another shocker to me is that Skyrim received no mention at all. Although I loved Mass Effect 3, and have enjoyed what little I played in Diablo 3, I feel that Skyrim easily bested the two. I do not own an Xbox 360 so I cannot speak for any of the titles on that console, but I do feel that Skryim likely trumped a driving game. For the PS3, I have not played any of the winning titles, but have heard rave reviews about Journey's soundtrack and the game. As well, I have heard wonderful reviews of The Unfinished Swan (they are on my list of games to pick up). Still, even on this platform I am certain that Skyrim could have received some notice. I realize that I am carrying on about the title, and I am not trying to go so far as to say that it should have been game of the year. I am only surprised that it got completely snubbed in the listings. Props to Mass Effect 3 for its showing. That was an extraordinary experience, and I look forward to the next Mass Effect entry (if and when it ever comes).
Edit: Oh, and the paragraph describing Playstation All Stars is actually the short review of COD Black Ops 2. Just thought that I would point it out.

Has it been that long already... . Oh well, I still think The Witcher 2 deserved a better showing.
