Never smoked a day in my life yet I'm probably still gonna die of something smoking related. Everyone else in my family smokes, both of my parents smoked heavily for most of their lives until they died (neither smoking related causes of death ironically), my three sisters and brother smoke, most of their kids smoke.

Sadly though I've never smoked, I worked as a cashier at the US Military Exchange store at the nearby base and often ended up at the "Ash Box", a register that was mostly in charge of cigarettes, cigars, cigar-ettes (the actual small cigars that you get in packs like regular cigarettes), Pipe tobacco, and chewing tobacco.. Regardless of how much I'd tell young cadets and privates that "Chewing Tobacco is worse then regular cigarettes" they'd still buy 5 or 6 pouches at a time.

thats because its much harder to be a heavy smoker and score high on your APFT run than if you dip/chew

As a medicine student I am ashamed to admit that I do smoke Hooka or Waterpipe every now and then, I'm not addicted or anything, just an occasional habit, once every week or 2.
And even if I didn't smoke, I spend a lot of time in closed coffeshops where many other people use Hooka.

It's funny how we studied and still are studying most of the many risks of smoking and we continue to smoke.

I used to smoke pot, but I've never touched tobacco of any kind. That **** will kill you.

Just so we are clear here, smoking pot is still bad for your lungs. However, it does not contain nicotine which is a well known carcinogen. So in that respect it is "better" for you than regular smoking... it is still not really "healthier." That being said I still smoke cigarettes... trying to quit though... and as far as pot goes... well, I'll just let you all guess whether or not I smoke that.
