Are you talking about a no-cd type EXE? That would be a non-retail and non-steam executable which breaks most trainers.
Sounds like you can use the trainer running the game normally so I don't understand the need. I am sure they won't provide a trainer for a version of the EXE they don't have.
ah, no. it basically involves renaming the original launcher and then replacing it with the dx9 or dx11 exe copied over and renamed. works a treat, tends to speed up launching the game. buuut. the trainer just complains at you, as it's looking for the launcher exe to be whatever size i guess. not sure what the deal is, just know it doesn't work.
