Anyone got any good tips on defeating the reaper at the end of this mission? I can't get the laser to fire, it' just to slow. Yeah I know I'm supposed to run back and forth and roll to dodge the laser, but there just isn't enough time to get the thing to fire. I get the little blue circle to appear over the eye, and I run back and forth dodging, but I can only do that 3 or 4 times before the beam catches up to me.

You can start to aim your laser and stop aiming to run to the other side, then finish aiming once you're safe. You don't have to aim and wait for the laser to sight in on the target all at once. It will pick up aiming where you left off seconds before. Also, be sure to run as far to the sides as possible and not stop near the middle of the ledge to aim.

In my experience the worst thing to do is to run to the edge, allowing yourself to be boxed in as the beam approaches. If you're at the edge and the beam approaches you can't roll under it. I've watched videos of people completing this section and for some reason my game seems to be different. I've noticed that in the videos "locking" on the "eye" takes only about a second, then the blue beams converge. That takes 2 seconds. The strike hits the Reaper a few seconds later, the reaper barely has time to fire. When I play this it takes the laser designator several seconds to "lock". The blue beams crawl inward slowly over a period of over 5 seconds... if I'm lucky, because by this time I'm usually running from the reaper's beam. The hit comes down in another 5 or so seconds. I've been doing this for weeks and I've only managed to get one hit on the reaper. Is there a "Slo-Mo" or "No Target" cheat for this game anywhere?
ive done this mission 100's of times. all you need to do is hold to fire, after you shoot he powers up and fires. you need to RUN/ROLL away from reaper as he shoots then hold and fire. i think 2nd last kill you hold and then roll again but it remembers where you were up to

forgot to say it is a gajillion times easier to avoid the laser if you stay in the middle. on each side some times he will aim slightly to the side so you run into the laser avoiding it or you stay and its big AOE gets you
