Is this a case where the regular Tropico 4 trainer won't work for the "Steam Special Edition"?

It works for the latest steam version! I just tested it myself!

The trainer does not work for me. Did you get the trainer to work for the steam special edition?

The trainer for Tropico 4 works perfectly fine with the Steam version and Windows 8 x64.

I play it regularly on that exact configuration.
