Assassin´s Creed III Message Board  

I havent gotten to far into the game yet only sequence seven but thats mainly because im trying to grab all the collectibles around and i do enjoy naval missions but my question is do the craftsmen on youre homestead level up with each stuff they create or as you progress through the game and complete theyer specific missions. I have noticed that once I complete the specific craftsmen mission more stuff opens up in the stockpile for me to buy but they are still lvl 1 craftsmen so Im not quite sure how that works, I will probably answear my own question as I play but any help would be greatly apreciated.

they levels only when you do the Homestead missions, some need to have others to continue leveling. i'm not sure but, you might be able to recruit some before a certain sequence, but not sure

Also forgot to ask is there a free roam for naval part of the game or is it only mission specific, I mean it be nice if i could just cruise along the eastern seaboard boarding templar vessels and looting them.

my GUESS is its quests only.. i cant be sure since i dont have my (retail) copy yet, so my information if i have any is from the ign wiki and thats BARELY trustworthy...

no Jurnt, naval has no free roam, sadly.
