my save game editor is v 3.3.3 and it automatically finds the kotor 1 files but i have to manually find/point it to the correct kotor: tsl files. also up untill today 10/23/12 it worked fine bbut this morning and evening every time i locate my kotor: tsl files then the editor crashes wondering what happened and how to fix it
try putting the KSE in your TSL directory, this may solve your auto-location problem.
also, run the KSE as admin. you will also have to run TSL as admin for any changes made using the KSE to take effect in-game.
if the problem persists try running KSE in Vista &/or XP compatibility mode. again, you will probably need to do the same when running TSL for any changes to take effect.
if all else fails, backup your saves and uninstall + reinstall TSL and KSE, make sure to update TSL to latest version(though it probably does it automatically or via patch updater application).
