XCOM: Enemy Unknown Message Board  

I accidentally sold my only Sectopod wreck and I'm near the end with no more Sectopods showing. Is there any way to add that wreck? I've been looking all over the place and have found nothing.

Forgot to mention that I tried using resource Hacker and CoSMOS, but it didn't make any sense to me and I kept on hearing crickets when I just looked at all those numbers and letters.

Do you have a save of before you sold it?

Resource hacker does not change any numbers of what you have, it alters the mechanics of how things work (to an extent). What you are looking for it seems is to make the tech research and cost of certain items that require that wreck no longer need it, which resource hacker can do. All you have to do is follow the board: www.cheathappens.com/show_board2.asp?headID=114478&titleID=19011 and it should tell you how to reach the file to alter those numbers. Then, you just scroll to the bottom where most of the tech research and costs are and alter those to no longer need the sectopod for anything. Compile script, save, exit out, go play. No need for sectopod.

Unfortunately, I saved over that part.
