    Hello
I know I am probably dumb but here goes...I would like to play BL2 and other games in my steam library on my PC offline how ever I can not figure out how. Is there a way to do this and also is there a way to copy the games to a disc? Any help is appreciated.

open steam then under the menu named "steam" pick "go offline" and your playing offline. you can backup your steam games to the hard drive yes and burn the backup files to disc. to backup to your hd right click the game then pick "backup game files" and follow the guide the rest should be self explaining.
Since there are people who give me crap for my grammar and is to lazy to check my profile I will say it here as well. I am dyslexic so give me a break as I *TRY* to spell correctly.

With your steam browser up, go to the top left corner. Click on STEAM then under that GO OFFLINE. You need to authenticate all games you wish to play offline prior to going offline. This just means launch them once successfully. After that play any authenticated games you wish to your hearts content.

As for archiving games there is a very easy way to do so. All games are stored here "D:\Steam\steamapps\common". replace D with your install drive. All games in your common folder are your installed games. Copy whatever you want to a seperate drive or dvd/bluray or usb stick. You can freely copy these to and from computers without fear of redownloads.
