Can someone pleas help me?! when I press F1 during gameplay (Steam version) the game instantly crashes!

    My specs are:

    4.2ghz quad core I5
    16gb ram
    3dvision 2
2x nvidia geforce 550 GTXti (SLI)

    HELP ME PLEASE!!!

If you had actually read the above posts, you would've seen Pwizard stating that there are Anti-cheat triggers in the Steam version of the game. Some have stated that downloading a no-CD exe will fix the problem.

I used the Fairlight 1.1 no-dvd patch and while the trainer works and doesn't crash, my mouse will not work. Using the arrow keys will still move the camera around, but the mouse won't move the camera for me unless I go back to using the original .exe and steam file.

Same for me, but the writings such as "Start", "Options", "Exit"...are gone and similarly in-game.

I'm still patiently(?) looking for someone to give me a safe link

Not a perfect solution, but you can load up a game on a fixed executable and dll like Fairlight, train the options you want, save and quit, then replace the executable and dll with the originals to play. The savegames appear to be fine. Great way to get extra gold, though obviously other options would be less useful.

Can someone please post a site or link to the fairlight 1.1 nocd patch. I have yet to find a clean file, let alone a site that acutally downloads the file. Tried Game copy and was told a virus was in the Steam Dll file.

    Thanks in advance
