trainer still doesnt work in version 1.06 for me. Just try these instead, at least these do work.

All Character Unlock (Unlocks all secret characters) Up, Up, Up, Left, Right, RB, B, RB, B, RB
All Weapons Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right A B
GAWD Mode (prevents death from damage) Up, Up, Left, Right, Left, Right, Down, Down, RB, A
Gawd Mode Off Down Down Left Right Left Right Up Up R A
Lose the Cops Up Up Down Down R B R B A
Open All Stages Y Y A Y Y A Y Y A B B
Red "Sweat" Mode A B A Y A B B
Speed Shoes Right Right Up Down Left Left Up Down R A
Super Stomp Left Left Up Down Right Right Up Down R A

Steam version is 1.07 and latest trainer is for version 1.07. You may should update both.

which trainer is for version 1.06 then & ill test that out?

Previous one. But i recommend to use latest trainer & latest game version and don't forget it's for the STEAM version of the game.

I seem to be having some issues with the latest trainer, it shows as being for v1.06? It crashes the game immediately.
I run it as admin, without AV and so forth, but I cant seem to get it to work. Any help would be appreciated!

Clear your cache, delete file and download it again. It should be stated as 1.08
