>Also, does anyone know if the addresses change every time you start a new game? I saved all of the previous edits I did last night, and when I loaded the game again today, the values were all like 21362136 and stuff. Really, stupidly high numbers, obviously not what they were in-game.
Yes, they do change a little. But stay in same meory block, thats how trainer works, a man, who is writing it, just gets the block he should change and then searches in that block for 'markers'. You can do it yourself with cheat engine, check the manual.
Not only does it change each time you start a new game but it changes pretty often while you are in a game. Freezing the values for items like Alien Alloys wont work for very long and may cause the game to crash. Best to just make sure the value in the game and in CE are the same before altering them to prevent crashes. About every other time I tabbed out of the game to change something the locations had changed, maybe every 5 minutes or so.
Had that problem with Money in Imperium 2 space game finished up just making a lot of fighters and selling them.Finished up with bulk cash.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- What the hell still stuck in the gravity well. This way madness comes.Join me in insanity.
Using Cheat Engine, only problem I'm having is with Alien Computers, and Alien Power Sources when I run the first search with the value, then Sell one or two I run next scan Still getting multiple addresses with same value. Anyone else having this problem?
Wylender, when you try to find a address like that in Cheat Engine you have to do more than search it once and update it once. You have to sell another part and search again. However, I have come up with a rather simple way of telling which addresses belong to the item list.
Before you search for Alien cores, search for something you have a ton of. Be it corpses or whatever, find the code for it and make sure it's the right address. Say you found Mutton corpses at the address of 356475C0. Now when you search for a item instead of a corpse, say like Alien Alloys, the address may be 35647644.
When you compare the two, they have the same hex codes up to the last 3. 35647644 356475C0
Using that you can find items your searching for without needing to potentially sell everything you have in order to find the value. The addresses change each time you load a game up, so be warned on that.
Any way to use cheat engine to revert some changes made by Resource Hacker? I currently have a save where I've transferred firestorms to all hangars across the world, only problem is, I'm stuck at -1 days for transferring. Is there any way to change the -1 value to a positive one using Cheat Engine?
