Just recently bought and installed the game with the elite soldier customization DLC. My problem is almost all the cheats work except for adding engineers as well as freezing at random times.
I've tried almost every troubleshooter posted in this thread and the numbers still remain the same - depending on your after mission reports as well as monthly rewards. (Note: both game and trainer are current.)
Is anyone having this problem? Or is the trainer non-DLC compatible? If so, can I put forward this request please? I can send you a copy of the savegame if that would help.
Hi! When you say you've tried more than one, do you mean you have downloaded the file more than once? Also, try 7-zip for your archives. It's regularly updated (winRAR hasn't been updated for a few years) and integrates nicely into windows explorer. Also free. Oh, you should try temporarily disabling your anti virus as well, just in case.
I've deleted and then downloaded the trainer file as well as changed it to admin-use only. No change in that one.
I don't know about 7-zip but I thought it's a file compression program. I've been using win-rar for years now and I've never had any problems with that. So I know that's not the problem.
I've already disabled/exempted the trainer from AVG. Still a no-go.
Re-installed both game and trainer. Put trainer in admin node and it worked fine, including the adding the engineer. Saved the game and opened a new game.
The new game again wouldn't let me add any engineers. So I closed the game and trainer, then re-launched them. Loaded the savegame and it crashed.
Closed and re-launched again about five times. On some instances I was able to progress through the game before it crashes on me again.
