Trainer doesn't work for me at all. Does downloading directly from Data Realms instead of Steam not count as "original retail" version?

The trainer was made for the steam version of the game.

Okay, I downloaded the game from Steam, installed Framework 3.5, ran the trainer as an Admin, pressed F1 at the main menu, activated the options I wanted to use, and the game crashes when I try to play.

*Oh, and I'm running Windows 7 with no antivirus turned on.

Have you tried different missions? I've tested the trainer on campaign (New campaign) and scenario battles without experienced a crash.

Yes sir, I've tried playing a campaign, exploration, massacre, survival, and one-man army. Crashes at the same point every time.

hi,

I'm having a similar problem.
I start up the trainer(no problem).
I start the game(no problem).
when I press f1 I can hear trainer activated so it seems to work, however as soon as I try to start a mission or a campaing the games crashes. I have the latest version of the game via steam and the latest version of the. the game has been updated a few days ago. could this be the problem and if so will the trainer be updated?
