I can't seem to get MOO 3 to work on Win 7 64Bit, it keeps locking up a few minutes into the game. Is there anything else out there like it?

Also kinda looking for a decent Submarine simulator (Newer subs, not WWII) Tom Clancy's SSN was always a favorite of mine.

    Thanks for the input !

For something like MOO, I'd recommend Galactic Civilizations II.

For a modern sub sim...Dangerous Waters is probably the most recent and best. Frankly, I still play Red Storm Rising.
In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'

Space Empires IV, although not graphically amazing the game play is vastly superior to the other similar titles and massively moddable. The Gold/Deluxe version of the game comes with a lot of mods already to play with.

And coincidently, gamersgate has a system called Void, which allows you to play a title for free as long as you watch a 60 second video each time you play, and one of the titles is Space Empires IV.

Thank you, I'll give both of those a shot. Don't think I'll get Red Storm Rising to work on Win 7 64 bit though lol.

The original Masters of Orion one of my all time favorite games. Wish I could get that one to work =/

I would also recommend Galactic Civ II. Also Sword of the Stars (the first one, not the buggy second one) is a good game. Though not really like the MOO games Sins of a Solar Empire series is a very good.

If you want to play MOO you can get it from gog.com (Good Old Games). They sell old games that run on Windows XP and Windows 7. You can get the MOO pack, Moo 1 & 2 for $5.99 from them.

EA is the anti-Midas touch company. Everything they touch turns to garbage.

Red Storm Rising works on Win7 via DOSBox. But maybe not on the 64 bit version, haven't tried it on a 64 bit system.
