Borderlands 2 Cheats
Anthony Burch, lead writer for Gearbox Software, has let slip that a third entry in the Borderlands franchise is already in the planning stage.
That’s according to MP1st, which claims that Burch dropped the news during the most recent instalment of The Totally Rad Show.
Nothing else was revealed other than the team is busy generating ideas for the loot-happy sequel.
And some text from MP1st:
With the great success of the recently released Borderlands 2, one has to wonder if the team behind this unique mesh of RPG and FPS elements will ever let the fans of Borderlands get to see a third installment of this franchise.
Fortunately for us Borderlands fans, the lead writer of the Borderlands franchise, Anthony Burch, has recently revealed during ‘The Totally Rad Show’ that Gearbox Software have already started throwing ideas together on what they would like to see in the third installment of this highly addicting FPSRPG.
Sadly, not much else was revealed about Borderlands 3, nor anything about what’s to come in the four DLC expansion packs that Borderlands 2 is scheduled to receive by June 2013. What we do know is that these expansion packs will be at least the size of General Knoxx’s secret armory, which happened to be the largest expansion from the original Borderlands.
All and all good news
However its no secret theyve grabbed Borderworlds domain names a while back and I also noticed they received a trademark grant for Borderworlds last November after first beginning the process all the way back on August 1, 2007. tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=77244803&caseType=SERIAL_NO&searchType=statusSearch
So given the clue during the cutscene after beating the game, it wouldn't be surprising that Borderworlds is next. Being able to fast-travel between different planets with vastly differing environments, who knows maybe they'll even make it a great big persistent MMORPG. Although the idea of PVP in this game would kind of suck based on the current state of everyone hacking it and everyone running around with 99 orange weapons in their backpacks now.

Not really. DLC usually works within the game. A new area to visit while you're still playing through the main storyline. Having DLC take you off-planet in the middle of the main quests would be awkward since -you haven't found the key- until the end of the game. DLC specifically for end-game is an option, but that would mean you would have to use the end of a 1.0 playthrough to reach it immediately (or end of a 2.0 if there is a 2.5). Looking at Borderlands 1, the DLC was somewhat vague and ambiguous about where in the story it took place. Less so in the Clap-Trap Revolution, but playing that one out of order didn't completely break immersion.
