Recommend me a game that´s like FTL. on General Discussions Message Board - Page 1

I'm searching games that are in a certain nishgenre, games such as FTL: Faster than light, Wheras the gameplay revolves around flying your own single spaceship and exploring new worlds.

The only game I can possibly recall having this rpgmechanic is Mass effect, games such as Sins of a Solar Empire are to rtslike.

Is there any (relativly new) games such as this that you guys can think of?

The X series, kind of. Independence War. Descent Freespace.

But they don't have the management bit so much.

It's not super recent, but you may enjoy the slightly older game Freelancer.

Still looks pretty good even by today's standards. Plus there are tons of mods for it.
