This is an extremely badly designed program:
- There are no keyboard short-cuts. The game crashes when you ALT-TAB more than a couple of times.
- The main Window is not movable without using external tools known only to expert users.
- The main Window covers the prompt dialogs when using any functions needing a popup dialog, resulting in an unobtainable input field unless you focus on another running program.
- The program assumes a fixed screen resolution and is not usable by those using custom resolutions (see point no. 1).
- The language used in the info and troubleshooting sections is unintelligible.
I recommend the good people at CH refrain from adopting inferior programs. We have all enjoyed excellent quality here. That said, these issues are all easily corrected. I am sure I can speak for some of us in saying I am surprised they were not corrected sooner.
The editor is working fine. When a problem arises it is quickly fixed. Most problems with the editor come from not reading a couple of pages in the forums, such as the Badass points not sticking. To fix that problem you need to give yourself 1 point and use it After you adjust your %'s.
-Keyboard shortcuts to what? Everything is done through manual input. That gives each user full control over how much he/she wants to do with the editor. Keyboard shortcuts would make it a TRAINER and not an EDITOR.
-The main window IS movable. Click-Hold the title bar of the editor's GUI and you can move it anywhere on your desktop. (beside the words "cheat happens" not on top of the words).
-See point 2... you can move the main window of the editor. The prompted input dialog is placed in the center of your screen and stays there unless you click to bring the editor into main focus. Your problem, not the editor's problem.
-What sort of custom settings are you useing? 5937x100? The editor fits fine on resolutions as low as 800x600.
Also, ALT-TAB is a not the editor's fault. The game would probably crash as often if you ALT-TABbed to look at a wiki. On that note, I've never had the game crash yet and I ALT-TAB more often than a fat guy reaches for candy. If it crashes on you that often, you have the option of running the game in Windowed mode, which many people has said works best for certain editor features like Speed.
As for the creator's language. His location flag shows Germany, so he probably speaks German. BUT, his English is better than most of the people I see on these forums that have location flags from U.S., Canada and Britain.

As for your post about weapons in the slots being a few levels lower than your current level. The slots, like npc drops and quest items, is Game Progression Dependent and not Level Dependent. Once you get closer to the end of the game (someone said Hero's Pass in 2nd playthrough) the items in the slots will be level 50.
