as long as you do a few times the normal way adding points to it in game, so the game updates pointers to the new stats then they save, and stay at that level

Only annoying tidbit I have noticed is that the BadAss points reset on saving/leveling/etc. Sort of annoying, but the BackPack space edit makes this a freaking godsend on its own.
Someone mentioned this can be skipped by editing those stats and spend some badass tokens legally on this stats, try out and let me know.
You should definitely also add level to your list. (base adress > 24 > 258, it's close to the XP pointer). Do note though, that if you want to lower your level, you'll first have to lower your exp.

For curiosity's sake, did your mouse wheel scrolling break after you made that increase? I tried to pump mine to 72 like BL1 and couldn't scroll down anymore - but it might've been the menu just being difficult.
