Start a second character explicitly for that purpose. Doesn't matter where you do it when acquiring the memory addresses. Or at least I don't think it matters...
50-60 slots is probably as far as I'd go. Already a pain to scroll through 27 slots of worthless weapons to sell only to have some scrolling bug in the sale screen if I go too fast.
I not familiar with Hex codes. I knew certain alphabet represents a number however it human's eye what does it read? I had max upgrade allowed in the game already 27. So I went to search for 27 and 26. Some hex showed up in Cheat Engine so I check them all changed them to 100 to try it. It must not be the right section because nothing happens. Kinda unfortunate I could not use this trick yet until I can figure out Hex coding and how to use this CheatEngine program better. Thanks for your kind response on such short notice.
Well no, what you would need to do is find out what changed and add the extra slots in the first place. The function of adding the slot itself is what you want to replicate with CE, not editing the slots thereafter. Once you find a way to replicate the function of adding a slot (the same way the black market does) you can presumably continue adding more slots independently, and will hopefully 'stick' after saving (depending on how inventory is saved in the first place).
I see: that would mean I would have to restart the game if Im understanding you correct. I gotta catch the number as it change with the black market backpack expansion. Too far gone in this save. I would like to try it on other characters though. Looking forward to it Many thanks for your kind assist. BTW taking a short look into CE tutorial it's insanely powerful. Im only touching the edge of the ice burg.
