Wondering if there is a way to get more backpack space? I saw a video mentioning having 65000 slots but it didn't explain how to do it. I'd like this a lot so I could store more items.
I vote with this guy too. Please do find a possible way for use to increase the inventory limit. Currently I knew it to be 27 after black market purchase. WWW did not reveal much right now. (I did come across a saved game claiming to have 200 weapons store??) It does not have to be trainer could be an edit. NOTE Borderlands 1 WillowGame.ini inventory edit taken from Borderlands2 already Thanks CH team. If anyone reads this and knows a solution I would really appreciate anything you'd be willing to share. PS Those awesome guns. I just have to have them all
Using cheat engine, you can make it so you can have at the least thousands of items at one time. I'll use the basic 12 slot backpack as example.
You have 5/12 items in backpack, search integer 4 for the number 5, drop one gun, 4/12, search for 4 and repeat this process until you have two results left. The one that shows to a address that ends with the number 8 is the one you want to change(at least been that way for me every time I've done this). Set the value to zero and lock it.
You can now pick up as many items as you want. But every time you save and quit you will have to rescan for this value since it changes every time.
What i did was search for 12 (4 byte integer) then buy a backpack expansion, then search for 15, eventually after your bought 2 or 3 expansions, you will have the number for slots, then change it to whatever you like. The same works for bank. I didnt want to give stupid amount, cause it would take forever to search thru inventory. So i made my backpack and bank both have 100 slots each. And the values stick, i exited game, reloaded, and still have 100 slots
I did the same as Asher. Just keep in mind that the backpack can become a little buggy when you start getting around 100 slots and you fill them with items. I tried 2000 slots like I did in Borderlands 1 and it was too buggy for me. I ended up starting a new character due to it. If you want to try it backup your saved games first just in case.
