Need help with trainer. I have been playing computer games since the 1980's and now in my 60's my eyesight and reflexes have diminished but not my love for games. Purchased Borderlands 2 and downloaded Trainer which worked fine the first time I used it. Since then, the game crashes every time I activate trainer. Is this just Steam blocking it or am I doing something wrong. I don't play on-line and have no desire to be abused or killed off my a 13 year old. Can anyone offer any suggestions. (A part from retiring)
Go into the games' folder, which will be in the steam folder..
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Borderlands 2\Binaries\Win32 (if you have a 64 bit Operating System)
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Borderlands 2\Binaries\Win32 (If you have a 32 bit OS)
There you will find borderlands2.exe right click on it and select properties, on the new window goto the details tab and it should show your current installed version there.
Match that up with the trainer in the list with the same version and away you go
If you have got the right one and it still crashes then you may have a slightly different version thats tied to your geological area, the best thing to do is to send in your borderlands2.exe for them to look at. Send to chris@cheathappens.com with a suitable topic to the email of course and attached file (zipped or RAR'd up to minimize the size to send)

Thanks for the quick response. I followed your instructions and found the game version (1.0.35.4707) which matches latest trainer. As mentioned previously, it did work the first time used with no problems. It was the next day that all attempts to use same trainer crashed the game. Can't progress past main menu screen.
