Provide a Link to the crash. Someone will figure it out if its the Trainer. I personally haven't had a problem with crashes etc. And its not like the game patched today or anything.
One thing I've noticed about this particular trainer. You need to clear your cache files (temp files) between downloading new trainers. It hasn't seemed to affect other game's trainers, but BL2 just seems stubborn.
To clean your Temp Files go to C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Temp -- then, while no programs are running, delete everything there that can be deleted (some are protected running programs).
OR, the easiest way is to download and use CCleaner or similar program to clean temporary system files.
