this isn't a flaw. it's authenticating. let it authenticate. no idea why this would do this to your explorer.exe.. I've not seen this happen here..
best,
Cal
The flaw isn't that it crashes if I click somewhere, though I don't think I should have to just sit there and do nothing until it authenticates. The flaw is that it crashes explorer.exe, I don't think that should be happening.
I have had trainers crash like this in the past and didn't bother worrying about it, this one is the first that I have had that crashes explorer.exe as well. And this isn't just a random thing, I can reproduce it every time. Don't know exactly how to show proof of it though, don't know if screenshots would even work when explorer.exe crashes.
How long does it take to Authenticate? Is it really a long wait? Mine sometimes will grey out and I get it back by clicking the Numlock a coupla times.
As for Explorer.exe crashing, nobody else is reporting that problem, not only here, but it's just not something that's been reported happening specifically from trainer use.
Explorer.exe crashes do have a history in Windows, though, and here is a couple of the pages that deal with the problem, maybe they will help you track down the issue:

Btw, did you try deleting all the files from that trainer and re-downloading it? It's posible the (trainer).exe got corrupted in the process.

The time it takes to authenticate isn't the problem either, if for example I accidentally click the icon 3 times instead of just 2, that counts as clicking somewhere else and causes the crash.
As for no one else reporting it, that would be why I am. This happens every time I click somewhere else between the time I double click to run the trainer and the time the trainer finishes authenticating.
And like I said, I have had other trainers crash the same way, but not cause explorer.exe to crash as well, that is why I am reporting this. So that it might get looked into and so it can possibly be fixed in future versions of the trainer or avoided in other trainers.
As for the trainer being corrupted, I doubt that's it, the trainer runs fine so long as I don't click anything before it authenticates, and there is no other issues besides that. And it actually seems to be only one specific type of trainer that has this issue, I'd have to look over my trainers again to find the other type, they have a different look to them. The only trainers that have crashed when clicking like this are ones similar to the Borderlands 2 trainer in style, there is another style of trainer on this site that I have never had the issue with. I cant remember the appearance of it or any games that use that type at the moment, but I will look over the trainers I have to see if I have it currently.
