Just wanted to mention this, while the trainer works great, there is a minor flaw with it. When I double click to run the trainer, if I click anywhere else at all on my desktop or another window before it finishes it's authentication, it will crash the trainer. This in itself isn't a very big issue, and has happened before with trainers. The big issue with it is that it also crashes explorer.exe. And in case people don't know, that is the process that controls your entire desktop. When it crashes all of the icons on your desktop, your toolbar, start menu, etc all vanish until explorer.exe is restarted.

And by clicking I just mean one click, I don't mean opening anything, running any programs, etc. This crash happens just simply by left clicking the mouse on anything at all within the screen before the trainer fully authenticates. Like if I just click once on my desktop without actually even clicking on an icon it will crash it.

this isn't a flaw. it's authenticating. let it authenticate. no idea why this would do this to your explorer.exe.. I've not seen this happen here..

The flaw isn't that it crashes if I click somewhere, though I don't think I should have to just sit there and do nothing until it authenticates. The flaw is that it crashes explorer.exe, I don't think that should be happening.

I have had trainers crash like this in the past and didn't bother worrying about it, this one is the first that I have had that crashes explorer.exe as well. And this isn't just a random thing, I can reproduce it every time. Don't know exactly how to show proof of it though, don't know if screenshots would even work when explorer.exe crashes.

How long does it take to Authenticate? Is it really a long wait? Mine sometimes will grey out and I get it back by clicking the Numlock a coupla times.

As for Explorer.exe crashing, nobody else is reporting that problem, not only here, but it's just not something that's been reported happening specifically from trainer use.

Explorer.exe crashes do have a history in Windows, though, and here is a couple of the pages that deal with the problem, maybe they will help you track down the issue:

    [url]atechjourney.com/explorer-exe-process-keeps-crashing-without-warning.html/'>Link

    [url]sevenforums.com/crash-lockup-debug-how/104768-troubleshooting-explorer-exe-crashing-issues.html'>Link

Btw, did you try deleting all the files from that trainer and re-downloading it? It's posible the (trainer).exe got corrupted in the process.

The time it takes to authenticate isn't the problem either, if for example I accidentally click the icon 3 times instead of just 2, that counts as clicking somewhere else and causes the crash.

As for no one else reporting it, that would be why I am. This happens every time I click somewhere else between the time I double click to run the trainer and the time the trainer finishes authenticating.

And like I said, I have had other trainers crash the same way, but not cause explorer.exe to crash as well, that is why I am reporting this. So that it might get looked into and so it can possibly be fixed in future versions of the trainer or avoided in other trainers.

As for the trainer being corrupted, I doubt that's it, the trainer runs fine so long as I don't click anything before it authenticates, and there is no other issues besides that. And it actually seems to be only one specific type of trainer that has this issue, I'd have to look over my trainers again to find the other type, they have a different look to them. The only trainers that have crashed when clicking like this are ones similar to the Borderlands 2 trainer in style, there is another style of trainer on this site that I have never had the issue with. I cant remember the appearance of it or any games that use that type at the moment, but I will look over the trainers I have to see if I have it currently.

I can't duplicate the problem crashing no matter how many times I try or how many times I click on it. What I mean is, as long as something is occurring for just one user but nobody else has that issue, there's nothing for them to look at and upgrade which means you'll need to look more closely on your end.

Did you look at those links about explorer.exe crashing? They suggest looking at your Event Viewer to see what's happening at the moment you crash, and that sounds like a solid suggestion for that issue. It's probably 99.9% not going to be a problem with that trainer unless there's some irregularity in the exe file from the dload or extraction process.

Does the Editor work ok for you? That's the first listing.

Yeah I looked at the event viewer, it just says an app crash error. And again if it was just an issue with the downloaded trainer then shouldn't it be happening more frequently, instead of just under specific conditions? The trainer doesn't crash, and subsequently doesn't crash explorer.exe unless I click something else during the authentication. That seems to indicate that the trainer is doing something during the authentication that is causing it. Perhaps your authentication is happening too fast for you to be able to replicate it.

Just because you cant reproduce this does not mean it doesn't exist or isn't a problem.

And I just checked, trainers that use the same style as Borderlands 2, Meridian New World, Darkout, any like that style are the ones that crash when I click somewhere else while it's authenticating. Of the ones I have like that, only Borderlands 2 affects explorer.exe when it crashes.

Creeper World 3 and Divinity: Dragon Commander, trainers in that style don't crash the same way.

Same with Mirrors Edge and Divinity 2: Ego Draconis trainers. It is something to do with the way those particular types of trainers are designed that is making them crash. If you look at each trainer the look of them is different, each group I listed here looks different from the others, perhaps made by a different programmer? Unfortunately without video taping my screen (which I cant do) while doing it, I cant show you any real proof beyond the problem details shown when the crash notice comes up. And as far as I can see, there is no real information in there that could be helpful beyond the name "APPCRASH".

Edit: (Also I prefer trainers over editors because the editors require me to alt tab out of the game, change what I want then go back in. And the editors tend to just let you change the stats like health, while the trainer will actually make it not go down.)

I attempted the crash and it seems to trigger on the following conditions

    1. Trainer is authenticating
    2. Trainer window receives an on blur event (clicking outside of the trainer or alt tabbing). Clicking inside the trainer window did not crash it.

Curiously enough when I triggered the crash by focusing on the 7-zip manager, it crashed 7-zip along with it too. This is the only program it does it for though.

It's not really that big of a deal though. Authentication only takes 1-2 seconds on my end.
    Your bitterness, I will dispel
