FTL - Faster Than Light Message Board  

Just got this game, figured i'd test the trainer out.

I'm seeing the health issue as noted above. It gives unlimited health to enemies as well as crew.

F8 seems to not add drone parts.

I am able to add and remove system slots but this seems to just break the game in that if you add or remove slots, these slots become completely non functional permanently. I cannot power them in any way either with the trainer or with normal use. For example, adding weapon system slots will cause none of my weapons to be of any further use and I am unable to actually fire any weapons until I restart the game.

Hmmm... Am I the only one who gets a force close of the game when the trainer is being activated ?

I haven't yet seen this happen. The trainer itself has crashed on launching it more than any of the other trainers, i'm not sure why. But this one has yet to actually cause FTL itself to crash.

I've even been able to get the trainer working with some of the user mods from the FTL official forums (though obviously without the functions of the features I mentioned above) but no crashing of the game.

On my case, the trainer is started normally without issues but as soon as I get it activated and start a new game or load a new one, even the tutorial, the game just **** itself down for no apparent reasons.

Most common reason that happens for me with any of these trainers regardless of games is version conflict.

FTL shows the version you have in the lower right of the main menu. I guess that's the best i've got. Is to make sure you're trying to right version of trainer for the version of the game you have.

Sometimes Trainer crash (mostly from 0x90) if I open them before starting the Game - To prevent this from happening try to Start the Game first - hope this helps

Tried both method, the version is the correct matching one, I even tried going back to a previous version but still no help.

As soon as anything close of a game is being started, the game crash back to desktop as soon as I press F1.

Not sure what else to try besides the standard run as admin.

This trainer doesn't seem popular or updated (hasn't had response from PWizard to the non working things). I tried emailing the PC contact with a bug report with no response so not sure what else we can do.
