My personal thoughts are that I could not care less. I do not own an iPhone, and do not really care if I ever do. To be honest with you, they are, IMO, simply an overpriced gadget that has equal competition offering far better prices. I am satisfied with my Android phone, and it was free. In order to get a free iPhone I need to go two steps down from the iPhone 5. I realize that you were looking for a more fruitful discussion of iPhone v. iPhone, but you also asked for opinion and this is mine. When Apple starts selling their products at comparable prices then maybe I will take a look at them. For now, I will just watch everyone else spend the extra cash.

A lot of the features that they have mentioned in their keynote sounds more and more like Apple is playing catchup to other phones than it is innovating. The only item I saw of interest was the new A6 chip which is more of an under the hood upgrade than new feature that only tech enthusiasts usually notice.
Your bitterness, I will dispel

yes but agree with me that somtimes we forget that usually the most significant improvements we are seeking in any device are speed and graphics performance, in this case we also have a phone so apple declared that they made improvments to the speaker and they added another mic for noise filtering so thats good news and also i loved the new ios features. other then that i agree they didnt blew my mind no innovations what so ever..

The microphones part is still sounding more like playing catchup so it's more of a "they're finally getting that put in?" rather than "wow". As for the iOS6, that's going to be available for many other devices (it's not iPhone 5 exclusive).
