I put all the lord souls in the lord vessel under the Firelink Shrine but I only got a flame in the vessel and the no cutscene and the door never opened.If I go back to the princess she tells me I've filled the vessel and must seek Frampts assistance.Frampt just repeats the same speech he said before I fought all the four holders of the lord souls.A couple of the boss fights gave a lord soul shard,was I suppossed to convert them some how?I never put anything in a chest. what a bummer!

Are you sure you killed the four lords?

Seath the scaleless (crystal dragon)
4 Kings (ghost in abyss)
Gravelord Nito (the big boner)
Bed of Chaos (the evil tree)

the bed of Chaos is the one I don't understand,I killed all the monsters i could see and took a soul out of a chest.was there anythink else I should have done.There were so many monsters I didn't know if any of them was the boss.

Bed of Chaos is the one most people miss because they think that the lava lobster boss is a lord. It's not. In the back of the cave is the exit to the lava level Lost Izalith and the bed of chaos(the most annoying boss of them all). Check this map

thanks that has to be my problem i'll check the link,did'nt see any exit other than the way I came in by the lava room bonfire.

two tips for Lost Izalith. There is a bonfire in the second small temple behind a hidden wall and a lot of awesome items in area behind the boss. There is also a shortcut to the demon ruins and the light helmet. I totally missed that area in my first run.

None of my bonefires for that area not even blightown are in my warp menu.What a bummer!I have to start at the Firelink Shrine area.Do know the fastest route to get there?thanks

through blightown shortcut if you have the masterkey.
Down the elevator at firelink, go right after you exit the elevator, there is another tower with access to drake valley, just across the bridge and to the right through a tunnel to blightown, down to ground level and to the right.
