Wanted to know what you guys thought of RPG'ish Shooters/Action like Deus EX: HR or Sleeping Dogs. Can you recommend any action-heavy RPG's?

    Thanks

As far as recommending a heavy action RPG series, IMO the Mass Effect series can't be beat.

Agreed with Bes. You can't go wrong, science fiction wise, with the Mass Effect series as an RPG/Shooter. To add to that, Fallout 3 is an excellent mix of both heavy RPG elements and first person shooting (there is an option for third person, but visually it's unappealing).

    Borderlands aswell.

"Soon": Dishonored (maybe, not sure on the RPG elements), and of course Borderlands 2!

Mass Effect series, Fallout 3 and Fallout NV, Deus Ex: Humar Revolution

These are the only ones I know of.

The original Deus Ex, and Deus Ex: Invisible War are good. System Shock 2 is awesome as well, but only if you do not mind playing older games that do not have all the graphical bells and whistles you might be used to in newer games.

Hell yes. System Shock 2 is one of the best games ever, full stop.

As for action-heavy RPGs and shooty RPG-likes, Divinity II is a real-time action RPG with a lot of neat gameplay gimmicks (mindreading to help find hidden items, etc) worth looking into on that front, Hunted: The Demon's Forge might pique your interest as well - I reviewed it here on CH actually, so you can at least get an idea of what I thought of it here: Link
For shooty RPG-likes, I really really love E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy. Visuals of a well-envisioned cyberpunk setting, gameplay of Hellgate: London, but with actual working elements. (sometimes ) Saints Row: The Third is an obvious pick as well, since it's a lot like Sleeping Dogs, and has a ton of character progression stuff.
